The
following is a short list of side projects involving Andrew or other members
of Fog, which will be updated whenever anybody gets bored and starts something
new. Which is often.
DOSH
Dosh will release his sophomore effort on Anticon this Fall, called Pure
Trash, preceded by an ep called Naoise (named after his bouncy new baby).
JEREMY YLVISAKER
Jeremy Ylvisaker, Fog producer/collaborator has a project called Interferents
that will knock your fucking socks off when you hear it. All that needs
to happen is for him to finish it. If you see him, say to him "Jeremy,
I want to hear your beautiful album." No need to be pushy or aggressive,
just say, "Jeremy I understand you have made a beautiful album of
music, and I would like to listen to it." Ok?
HYMIE'S BASEMENT
A collaboration between Andrew Broder of Fog and Jonathan Why? Wolf of
cLOUDDEAD, etc. Coming out on Lex Records (October 21st in Europe, November
4th in the States), we are both very proud and excited about this project.
Yoni and I contributed equally to the sounds on the record, and what began
as a fun way to spend 2 weeks in Minneapolis turned into a bona fide,
cohesive piece of musical magic. Ha! Soon, we will have what I like to
call a “Interweb Site” devoted to this project. Check out www.lexrecords.com
or www.warprecords.com.
Past Work_
LATEDUSTER
Merck Records will soon re-release Easy Pieces by Lateduster, which is
an instrumental group that me and Dosh played in alongside JG Everest
and Bryan Olson. I reckon this will happen sometime in the Fall.
